Convenient Bus Stop
There is a convenient bus stop 1 min walk outside the park entrance on the popular Coastliner route to the coast, Scarborough and Whitby or to York.
The bus route has been voted the most scenic in the UK and includes guided audio so you don’t miss any of the sights on the way.
Take the 840 if you’re going to Scarborough or Whitby. Check the latest full timetable here.
Designated Dog Walk
We are a dog friendly holiday park with a designated dog walk so you can take your dogs for a walk onsite.
We do ask that all dogs are kept on leads at all times (even well behaved ones).
To let them off the lead and have a good run around there is a bridleway heading to Thornton-Le-Dale and Dalby Forest 5 minutes from the site.
The Black Bull pub and restaurant (separately owned to the park) is a 17th century traditional coaching inn located at the entrance to the Holiday Park, serving traditional English pub food. Bring your appetite for the Sunday carvery and huge loaf tin Yorkshire Puddings.
There’s also Spencers Bar & Grill across the road from the park (5 min walk).
Within the Reception building we have a seperate Tourist Information area open 24hrs with leaflets and helpful information for local attractions, walks and useful contacts.
Or you can pop in and ask our recommendations and help if you can’t find what you’re looking for.
